Bio

Fredrik Hanell holds a PhD in Library and Information Studies (2019) and is Associate Professor in Library and Information Science at the Department of Cultural Sciences at Linnaeus University. His research interests include critical studies of contemporary digital education, media and information literacy in digital settings, digital methods, and the societal role of public libraries. He is Deputy Head of the iInstitute, Linnaeus University’s iSchool, co-leader of The Library and Cultural Policy Studies Group, and a member of Linnaeus University’s Centre for Digital Humanities.
